3 DIY Bath Bomb Recipes

So you wanna so something fun, innovative, and a saver for the pockets?! Some times we enjoy our self-care days more when we create it from scratch. Below I will be giving you a recipe you know is proof fail, and your body will thank you for.
Basic Recipe
- 1 cup Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Citric Acid
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon essential oil *be careful not to go over on this*
- 2-3 tablespoons grape seed oil (recommended) (or olive oil, jojoba oil or any other oil suitable for your skin)
- Biodegradable glitter (optional)
Herbal Recipe
- 1 cup Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Citric Acid
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon essential oil *be careful not to go over on this*
- 2-3 tablespoons grape seed oil (recommended) (or olive oil, jojoba oil or any other oil suitable for your skin)
- Biodegradable glitter (optional)
- 1/4 cup of dried herbs (you can find them at your local health foods store)
Muscle Relaxation
- 1 cup Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Citric Acid
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon essential oil *be careful not to go over on this* (Peppermint, Eucalyptus or Spearmint)
- 2-3 tablespoons grape seed oil (recommended) (or olive oil, jojoba oil or any other oil suitable for your skin)
- Biodegradable glitter (optional)
- 1/4 Epsom Salts
You can buy molds from anywhere! My favorite is Joann's. But you can find them in the bakery, crafts section in your local grocery store. Once you mold the bath bomb, let them dry at least for 2 hours., If you're a first timer, when keep them in the mold.
After you have made them, they should last at least for 2 months (given that they're in a nice, cool, dry place)
